1. About these terms
In these terms, “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to LATEGRID Lighting, the retailer operating this website.
These Terms of Service apply to your use of our website and purchases from our store. Our Shipping Policy, Return and Refund Policy, and any product-specific terms disclosed before purchase also apply to your order. Our Privacy Policy explains how personal information is handled.
By placing an order, you agree to these terms. Nothing in these terms limits rights or remedies that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
2. Accounts and customer information
You must have the legal capacity to enter into a purchase agreement or have appropriate authorization to do so.
Please provide accurate contact, payment, and delivery information. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and notifying us if you believe someone has accessed your account without permission.
3. Products and descriptions
LATEGRID Lighting sells automotive lighting products and accessories sourced from third-party suppliers.
Product descriptions identify the item, selected package, and included components. Please review these details before ordering. A wiring harness, controller, mounting adapter, or other accessory is included only when stated in the selected package description.
Photographs showing installed products may include vehicles, additional lights, brackets, or accessories that are not included with your purchase.
Screen settings, photographic exposure, and ambient conditions can affect the appearance of colors and light output. Photographs are not measurements of brightness or beam performance. These differences do not excuse a product that materially differs from its description.
We may update listings and product availability. We will not substitute a materially different product or package for an existing order without your agreement.
4. Fitment, installation, and permitted use
Review the product’s dimensions, electrical requirements, connectors, mounting requirements, and intended use before purchasing. Vehicle-specific brackets, adapters, or modifications may be needed unless the listing expressly states otherwise.
Installation should follow the supplied instructions and use appropriate wiring, circuit protection, and mounting hardware. Seek assistance from a qualified installer if you are unsure about compatibility or installation.
Certain auxiliary lights, colors, flashing modes, strobes, and sirens are restricted by law. Products identified for off-road, show, or authorized use must be used only where permitted. A product’s availability for sale does not establish that it is legal for public-road use in your location.
Check applicable vehicle codes before installation and use. These responsibilities do not limit our obligations concerning accurate descriptions, defective goods, or applicable consumer rights.
5. Orders, prices, and payment
All prices are in U.S. dollars unless otherwise indicated. Applicable taxes and shipping charges are disclosed before you complete checkout.
An order acknowledgment confirms that we received your order. We may decline or cancel an order because of unavailable stock, an apparent listing error, suspected fraud, payment problems, or a legal restriction.
We will notify you if we cannot fulfill your order. If we cancel all or part of a paid order, we will promptly refund the amounts paid for the canceled items, including applicable taxes and shipping charges attributable to those items.
We will not increase the price of an existing order or collect an additional charge without your agreement. If a pricing error prevents us from accepting an order, we will explain the issue and provide a refund for any canceled items.
Price changes apply to future purchases.
6. Dispatch and delivery
Our typical dispatch window is 3–5 business days after payment is confirmed. Dispatch means handing the package to the shipping carrier. Carrier transit time is additional.
Any different dispatch estimate for a particular product will be disclosed before purchase. Available shipping destinations, services, and charges are shown in our Shipping Policy and at checkout.
We will have a reasonable basis for the dispatch estimates we provide. If we cannot ship within the stated timeframe, we will notify you, provide an updated estimate when available, and offer the choice of agreeing to the delay or canceling the affected unshipped items for a full refund.
If we do not obtain any consent required by law, we will cancel and promptly refund the affected unshipped items. No restocking fee applies to these cancellations.
Carrier delivery dates are estimates unless a service is expressly described as guaranteed. Contact us if a package appears lost, arrives damaged, or is not delivered as expected. We will investigate with the carrier and provide the remedy required by our policies and applicable law.
7. Cancellation requests
Contact us as soon as possible if you need to cancel or change an order. We will confirm whether the request can be accommodated.
An order that has already shipped must be handled under the applicable return process. For an approved cancellation of unshipped items, we will refund the amounts paid for those items, including applicable taxes and shipping charges attributable to them. No restocking fee applies.
This section does not limit cancellation rights available under applicable law, including rights relating to shipment delays.
8. Change-of-mind returns and restocking fee
You may request a change-of-mind return within 30 days after delivery. This is the deadline to request a return, not the date by which the package must arrive back to us.
To qualify, items must be unused, uninstalled, unmodified, and complete, with their original packaging and all included components. Kits must be returned complete.
Contact us with your order number before sending a return. We will provide return instructions and the return address. Do not send a return to an address printed on supplier packaging unless we specifically direct you to do so.
Approved change-of-mind returns are subject to a 15% restocking fee. The fee is calculated only on the actual purchase price of the returned merchandise after discounts, excluding taxes and shipping. It is deducted from the merchandise refund.
For example, the restocking fee for an item purchased for $65 is $9.75.
Customers pay return shipping for change-of-mind returns. Original shipping charges paid by the customer are not refunded for these returns, except where required by law.
After receiving and inspecting the return, we will notify you of the outcome. Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method within 10 business days after receiving the returned items, including inspection, or sooner where required by law. Your payment provider may require additional time to display the refund.
Any applicable tax refund will be handled as required by law.
9. Defective, damaged, or incorrect items
The change-of-mind eligibility conditions and 30-day request window do not govern claims involving defective products, damage on arrival, incorrect items, or rights available under applicable law.
Contact us promptly with your order number and a description of the issue. We may request photographs or other reasonable information to help resolve the problem.
No restocking fee applies to an approved return involving a defective product, damage on arrival, or an item we shipped incorrectly. We will provide or pay for required return shipping and arrange an appropriate repair, replacement, or refund, subject to applicable law and any applicable warranty.
Installation or opening the packaging does not, by itself, eliminate rights concerning defective goods.
10. Warranties and consumer rights
Any additional written warranty offered with a product will be described in the applicable product listing or warranty terms available before purchase.
Nothing in these terms excludes an applicable express warranty, an implied warranty that cannot lawfully be excluded, or any other mandatory consumer right.
The absence of an additional written warranty does not mean that you have no rights if a product is defective or does not match its description.

11. Website content and intellectual property
Original content created by LATEGRID Lighting, including our photographs, text, and branding, belongs to us or the applicable rights holder. Third-party content and product-related intellectual property remain with their respective owners.
Purchasing a product does not transfer ownership of intellectual property in that product or its design.
You may use our website to browse, compare products, and make purchases. You may not copy or commercially reuse protected content without permission, except where permitted by law.
Nothing in this section restricts lawful quotation, fair use, or honest customer reviews.
12. Customer reviews and submitted content
You retain ownership of reviews, photographs, and other content you submit.
By submitting content for publication on our store, you grant us a nonexclusive, royalty-free license to reproduce and display that content in connection with our store and products. You confirm that you have the necessary rights to submit it.
We will not alter a review in a way that misrepresents its meaning. We may remove spam, unlawful content, private information, threats, harassment, or content that is clearly false or unrelated to our products or services.
We do not remove reviews solely because they are negative. Nothing in these terms prohibits honest reviews or criticism of our products, services, or business.
13. Acceptable use
You must not use our website to commit fraud, submit unauthorized payments, introduce malicious software, access another person’s account without permission, or interfere with the website’s operation or security.
You must not impersonate others or submit information you know is false.
We may restrict access where reasonably necessary to address unlawful activity, security threats, or material misuse. Restricting website access does not eliminate obligations relating to existing orders, refunds, warranties, or consumer rights.
14. Shopify, external services, and privacy
Our store is hosted on Shopify. Purchases from this store are made with LATEGRID Lighting, not Shopify.
Payment providers, shipping carriers, and other service providers may help us operate the store and fulfill orders. Using these providers does not remove our responsibilities as the seller.
Links to external websites are provided for convenience. Their operators control their content and services.
Our Privacy Policy explains our handling of personal information. Shopify’s handling of personal information is described in its applicable privacy policy.
15. Liability and mandatory protections
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for fraud, willful misconduct, or any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including applicable obligations relating to defective products or personal injury.
These terms do not require you to waive mandatory consumer protections, valid refund rights, or remedies available under applicable law.
16. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by California law, except where mandatory laws applicable to you require otherwise.
Nothing in this section prevents you from relying on mandatory protections or bringing a claim in a court available to you under applicable law.
Please contact us about an order or dispute so we have an opportunity to resolve it. Contacting us first is not a condition of exercising your legal rights.
17. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms for future use of the website and future purchases. The updated date will appear at the top of this page.
Changes will not retroactively reduce rights or benefits attached to an existing order. We will provide notice of material changes where required by law.
If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.
